Yellow Aster Butte is an incredible hike that has it all. In spring, wildflowers are spectacular. In fall, colors will WOW and huckleberries abound. Definitely, not to miss. Geologically, find interesting rock formations, remnants of the Puget Lobe. At the summit of Yellow Aster Butte, the views are stunning, with Baker, Shuksan, Tomyhoi, and many other jagged, snow-covered peaks lining your horizon. Road to TH is passable. Toilet at TH.
