Yellow Aster Butte is an incredible hike that has it all. View Mount Baker, High Divide, Canada and Northern Cascades as the trail climbs up to the Butte. In spring, wildflowers are spectacular. In fall, colors will WOW and huckleberries abound. As a side trip, follow Tomyhoi Lake Trail a short rise to view Gold Run Pass. Geologically, find interesting rock formations, remnants of the Puget Lobe. Drive to TH is passable. Toilet at TH.
